NEET 2020: NTA WILL ISSUE NOTIFICATIONS ON 2 DECEMBER
NTA NEET 2020 Registration Notification: On December 2, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the notification for NEET UG 2020 exam. MBBS and BDS courses run in medical colleges across the country will be admitted through this entrance examination. It is to be noted here that from the academic year 2020, NEET has become mandatory for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in all medical colleges / institutes including AIIMS and JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research). Earlier AIIMS and JIPMER used to conduct separate entrance exam for admission in MBBS and BDS courses, but from 2020, it will also be admitted through NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
After the notification of NEET Undergraduate 2020 examination, candidates can apply by going to ntaneet.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates will also be able to download notifications from here. After the notification is issued, read the complete details, so that there is no problem in filling the form.
This time the NEET entrance exam will be held on 3 May. The exam will be conducted in a total of 154 cities. NEET Result will be released on 4 June. Candidates who succeed in NEET UG 2020 examination will get admission in MBBS and BDS courses being run in medical colleges across the country on the basis of merit.
Since the AIIMS and JIPMER examinations will be canceled, the number of applicants for the upcoming NEET examinations is set to increase.
192 crore came from NEET 2019 admission applications
The National Testing Agency has earned more than Rs 192 crore from the application fee of NEET-2019 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination) examination for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in medical education and dental education colleges. Let us tell you that the single entrance exam ‘NEET-2019’ for admission to MBBS-BDS courses was conducted on May 5, 2019 in various cities across the country. The process of filling the online form to participate in this exam was kept from November 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018. For this, registration fee of Rs 1400 was fixed for general and OBC candidates and Rs 750 for SC-ST etc. Of these, a total of 15,19,375 candidates had registered, out of which 14,10,755 candidates had participated in the examination. The result of this examination was declared on June 5.
