SUKHASANA (EASY POSE)
Sukhasana is the easiest practice of yoga and also the most beneficial. Doing this gives mental and physical energy. To perform Sukhasana, sit with your legs crossed and keep your back straight. Keep in mind that while doing this asana, take special care of the posture of hands. Performing this asana increases the power of the mind.
Children’s body is flexible. Therefore it is easier to teach them yoga postures. By teaching regular practice of Bhujangasana, if the stomach muscles of the children are stretched, then there will be no risk of them becoming obese. Also, by doing this, the arms are also strong. To do this, first lie flat on the abdomen. After this, put both hands under your forehead. Keep the feet of both feet together. Now raise the forehead in front and keep both arms parallel to the shoulders, which will put the weight of the body on the arms. Now lift the front of the body with the help of arms. Stretch the body and take a long breath. After remaining in this position for a few seconds, lie back on your stomach.
It is a very important yoga posture for our health. To do this, lie on your back and try to get up on your feet. It relaxes the spinal cord and plays a huge role in keeping the mind healthy. Therefore, it is beneficial for children to practice this yoga.
